The Doman Method™ reading program was created by my grandfather Glenn Doman and his book “How to Teach Your Baby to Read” in 1964. The Doman Method reading program works because it uses the incredible visual word form area (VWFA) in the brain. The VWFA is a small powerhouse in the brain that looks at a word and recognizes it. We have decades of experience at Doman Learning, and we have found that by showing the same word 3 times a day for 5 days your child will learn to read.
